Shipping Policy
Shipping Charges
We offer free shipment service to almost all part of India unless specified, whereas customer need to bare delivery costs in case of overseas deliveries. We try to process all deliveries through reputed courier companies like Bluedart, Aramex, DTDC, and Fedex. In some cases where the pincode/zipcode is not serviceable by these courier companies, we use Indian Speed Post for those deliveries. No refunds would be given if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.
Shipping Duration
Once your order has been processed & dispatched it is usually delivered within 7 to 10 business days. We do not ship the products on Sundays and public holidays as our logistic partner does not pick-up on those days.
If, for any reason, there is going to be a delay in shipping because a item is out of stock or if there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail. We may choose to deliver your order in separate parts. In some cases we may offer to refund you for unfulfilled part of the order.
Order Tracking
Items are delivered through reputed courier partners who will provide you with a Tracking ID for your order by which you can track your delivery on the respective websites of our courier partners. We email you the tracking number after we dispatch your order.
Return & Exchange Policy
How are returns processed?
Once you request to return a product via email or phone, a pick up is organised for the item. Our courier partners will come to pick up the item within 5-7 business days after your return request has been received. This item is then brought back to our warehouse where it is checked by our quality control team. Once the product passes the quality control, a refund is initiated.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of order. Please email us at support@thevillageheritage to request a cancellation. You will not be able to cancel the order by yourself on the website.
**The Village Heritage reserves the right to cancel any order without pre-confirming the customer at any time and may verify any order before shipping the same to the customer that may include having a verbal or written confirmation from the customer.
How will I receive the refund for my cancelled or returned product?
Money will be returned to the bank account/ credit/debit card where the payment was made from. For Cash on Delivery orders customers will be required to provide bank details where they would like to receive the refund.
How long does it take to receive a refund for a cancelled order or returned product?
We will process your refund within 5 business days incase of cancellation of an order.In case of returns, we will refund the money after the product has been received by us and post completion of quality check. Please note, this entire process takes 2 weeks after the return has been picked up.
